Afno Bazar Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. ("AfnoBazar", "we", "us") operates the online multivendor marketplace at afnobazar.com.np and the AfnoBazar mobile apps. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices available to you. By using the Platform you consent to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Information you provide — name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, account credentials, order details, communications with us and with Sellers, reviews and ratings; and, for Sellers, business and payout information.
- Transaction information — products purchased, amounts, payment method (eSewa, Khalti, Cash on Delivery, bank), and order history. We do not store full card details; payments are processed by licensed payment partners.
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the time, date, and duration of visits.
- Location data — collected with your permission to improve delivery and recommendations.

2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and provide the Platform.
- To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, including sharing the details needed with the relevant Seller and delivery partner.
- To process payments and refunds and to prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To provide customer support and handle grievances and disputes.
- To send transactional messages and, where permitted, marketing you may opt out of at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Legal Bases
We process personal data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, with your consent (e.g. marketing, location), and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the marketplace.
4. How We Share Information
As a multivendor marketplace, we share the information necessary to complete and support your order with: (a) the Sellers fulfilling your order; (b) logistics and delivery partners; (c) payment service providers (eSewa, Khalti, banks); (d) service providers who support our operations under confidentiality obligations; and (e) authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security. We may also transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the Platform, and thereafter as required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations or to resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, or update your information through your account, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and opt out of marketing.
