Dispute Resolution
Last updated: 10 June 2026
AfnoBazar is an online multivendor marketplace and acts as an intermediary between Customers and independent Sellers. This policy explains how disputes are handled and the role AfnoBazar plays in helping resolve them.
1. Buyer–Seller Disputes
Because the contract of sale is between the Customer and the Seller, disputes about products (such as quality, description, delivery, returns, or refunds) are primarily between those parties. AfnoBazar provides tools and support to help resolve such disputes fairly and in line with the Returns & Refunds policy.
2. Raising a Dispute
To raise a dispute, contact us through My Orders or at [email protected] with your order number and details. We register your dispute and may request information from you and the Seller.
3. Facilitation by AfnoBazar
AfnoBazar may review order records, communications, and evidence to facilitate a resolution, including arranging returns, replacements, or refunds in accordance with our policies. Where appropriate, we may hold or reverse amounts from the Seller's payouts pending resolution. AfnoBazar's role is to facilitate; it does not assume the Seller's contractual liability except as required by law.
4. Grievance Redressal
If a dispute is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate it through our Grievance Redressal mechanism, under which complaints are acknowledged and resolved within fifteen (15) days in accordance with the Electronic Commerce Act of Nepal.
5. Mediation, Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The parties are encouraged to resolve disputes amicably and through the mechanisms above before commencing legal proceedings. This policy and any dispute relating to the Platform are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal shall have jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights or your ability to approach the Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection or other competent authorities.
